AAEI highlights members who are helping lead the Association on key issues, initiatives and projects. This week, the spotlight is Sue Audet of Pratt & Whitney.
Sue is an active member of AAEI’s Aerospace and Defense Committee and helped the Association makes gains on streamlining the importing and exporting processes for their industry. The Committee has expanded its engagement with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Defense Department and the State Department. Currently, Sue is part of the effort to encourage CBP to modify its “reasonable care” definition to encompass use of artificial intelligence (AI) in trade applications.
At Pratt & Whitney, Sue is Associate Director Global Trade Compliance. Before joining Pratt & Whitney, worked as a trade compliance office for GTAT Corporation. Sue also is a CUSECO Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer.
