FMC Requesting Funding Increase to Fully Implement OSRA

The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) is requesting a budget increase of 14.27% for FY 2024 in order to fully implement the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022. In FY 2024, this requires an increase of $6,158,000 with a total cost of $33,415,000 for salaries and benefits.” Read the FMC’s FY 2024 Budget Justification report.
