AAEI is spotlighting members who are helping lead the Association on key issues, initiatives and projects. This week, AAEI is featuring Tom Gould of Flexport Customs LLC.
Tom is a former member of AAEI’s Board of Governors, a past annual conference moderator and a longtime AAEI leader. He has guided AAEI on key trade issues and legislative priorities in his leadership roles and currently is engaged as a member of AAEI’s Customs Committee. Tom also is a current member of CBP’s Trade Support Network and leads the TSN executive committee.
At Flexport, Tom is Vice President of Global Customs where leads a team of global trade experts and licensed customs brokers to build the company’s sophisticated, data-driven services. Prior to Flexport, Tom was Senior Director, Customs and International Trade, for Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A.
As a member of California’s Foreign Trade Association, Tom promotes AAEI’s membership value to importers, exporters and trade service providers and is one of AAEI’s strongest ambassadors on the West Coast.
